What does it mean to raise Jewish children in today’s world? How do we create a Jewish home, build meaningful traditions, and help our children develop a strong sense of identity and belonging? Beginning this fall, join us for a four-part learning series designed for parents at every stage of their Jewish journey.
While each session will include information and resources, the heart of this series is conversation. Together, we will explore questions of identity, belonging, community, Jewish values, home rituals, holidays, and family traditions. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss challenges, ask questions, and help shape the direction of our conversations based on what matters most to them and their families. Topics will include finding your place in Jewish community, raising children with Jewish values, creating meaningful home practices without feeling overwhelmed, and making Jewish holidays memorable and accessible. We will also spend time learning about our sanctuary, prayer services, and the rhythms of the Jewish calendar.
Whether you are wondering how to make your home feel more Jewish, navigating the realities of an interfaith family, looking for ways to engage your children in Jewish life, or simply seeking connection with other parents facing similar questions, this series aims to provide a welcoming space for learning, reflection, and community.
Led by Chavvah Penner and Megan Hoffman, with the support and participation of Rabbi David and Rabbi Matt.
