The Temple’s Memorial Boards

At The Temple, memorial (yahrzeit) plaques offer a lasting way to honor loved ones who have passed. Each plaque displays the loved one’s name and date of death. On the anniversary of their passing (yahrzeit), a light is illuminated beside their name in remembrance, and their name is read by the Rabbi during Shabbat from the Kaddish list. Plaques are easily searchable on The Temple’s iPad in the Atrium, providing a meaningful way for family and friends to reconnect with their memory.

How to Order

Each memorial plaque is $880 and takes about 8–10 weeks to create. When your plaque arrives, we’ll notify you and send a photo so you can confirm everything looks just right. It will then be placed in the location you choose, and that information will be kept in our database. You and your loved ones are welcome to be present for the placement of the plaque. If you wish, one of our Rabbis can offer a special blessing at that time. Simply note your preference on the order form.
