Membership Options and Financial Commitments
We strive to offer a number of programs, support groups, and services to fulfill our mission and to meet the needs of our members and community. As part of our Covenant of Membership, we ask that each member of our congregation support the activities and maintenance of our Temple and the services we provide to the Greater Louisville community with an annual financial commitment. Additionally, all members share a collective responsibility to support and strengthen The Temple’s security efforts through an annual security assessment fee.
It is The Temple’s goal to make membership affordable for all and we are committed to creating a community where all congregants feel welcomed, valued, and vested in our congregation regardless of their financial situation. No one is ever refused membership to The Temple on the basis of one’s ability to make or fulfill a financial commitment. Regular Member – Local & Loyal (within 50 miles, considers The Temple their primary synagogue)
For those who live nearby and call The Temple their Jewish home. You’re with us often-whether it’s Shabbat, holidays, learning, or volunteering-this is your spiritual home base.
$2,598 annual financial commitment.

Associate Member – Partner in Spirit (with primary membership elsewhere)
You belong to another synagogue as your primary community, but you also value being connected to The Temple. Maybe you join us for Shabbat and the holidays, family events, or special programs. We’re honored to be part of your Jewish journey.
