Learn each Monday night for a new miniseries learning about:

  • Passover Seder through the eyes of modern Israeli poetry and literature. Enrich the themes of your Seder and learn more about Israeli society and Jewish community and its different approaches to Passover.
  • Lessons from Passover – how to treat the stranger amongst you. How do Jews treat the stranger and the other in our midst? What happens when Jews are in power? How do American Jews react towards issues of race and ethnicity in Israeli society? Is there a double standard in American Jewish society when it comes to Israel and the way it deals with the “other”? We will open windows to Israeli Jewish society and its struggle with treating “the stranger in our midst”.
