We have reached our RSVP capacity for in person. Please join us virtually on Facebook Live.

Tashlich, the symbolic casting off of sins that we traditionally hold at Captain’s Quarters, will still be held in person this year, but with proper physical distancing and masks required. We’ll be using a sound system so everyone can hear while maintaining their distance.

Tashlich is a remarkable ceremony, symbolic and concrete all at the same time. Through this ritual, we express not only our desire to be free from sin but our continuing hope that we will be forgiven for past misdeeds One of the beautiful ideas behind Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur is the notion that we can stop to reflect, review, and re-think who we are, what we have achieved this year, how we have been affected, and how we made an impact on the world and our communities.

Taschlich allows us to symbolically let go of what is holding us back, and by symbolically washing away all of our sins from the past year, we have the opportunity for a fresh start.
