Shavuot at The Temple

Shavuot is traditionally considered to be the anniversary of the Giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. We read the Ten Commandments and share beautiful music on the theme of Torah.

Tikkun Leil Shavuot on Zoom (email [email protected] for Zoom info)

Tikkun Leil Shavuot is the custom of staying up the entire night of Shavuot studying with the community in order to re-experience standing at Sinai. Here at The Temple, we have created the tradition of studying after the service.

What can we learn from Jewish history about race, racism, and racial justice? What are the connections between the Jewish experience of antisemitism and discrimination, and the African American experience of racism and racial violence?
