Blankets and Blessings

The Temple has a wonderful group of volunteers who get together one Monday morning a month to make two types of fleece blankets for fellow congregants. One style gets delivered by our clergy to members who are in the hospital or homebound. Additionally, we create soft, colorful blankets which are presented for baby namings.

All the blankets are made from fleece in a wide variety of patterns and colors. None of our projects require any sewing or great skill. We would love to have more people join our “non-sewing” circle where all you need is to be able to cut fabric and tie knots. We provide the fleece, the pattern, and the friendship.
